To be honest, I was aformerowner of a Game Boy Camera back when it was released in 1996. However, it didn’t take long for my dog to make it a personal chew toy of hers. Little did I know, she was actually doing me a favor by destroying that which should never have been created.
For those of you who can’t remember the Game Boy Camera, it was a simple black & white digital camera accessory for the original Game Boy. The image quality of the pictures was downright laughable with enough grain to make even a blind man say “WTF!”

The Game Boy Camera offered up simple shooting and editting tools that made MSPaint look like Photoshop back in the day. Furthermore, the camera also came bundled with some very basic minigames where you could plaster your ugly mug in places you wished it would never go.
You know, I’ve been pretty hard on the little guy. I did have some good memories of taking pictures of people I didn’t like and giving them bulging googly eyes and the like. But now that I’ve grown older and wiser, I must say that I am glad time has buried this God Awful Gadget.
