Barcade in Brooklynhosted alittle shindigyesterday in which it invited hopeful gamers to drink a few rounds and beat a world record or two, although not necessarily in that order. Official judges from Guinness were there to do what they do best, and believe it or not, 2 records were actually smashed.
The games? None other thanTapperandMs. Pac-Man. Michael Przybocki took home the record for fastest time to beat five boards onTapperwith a time of 1’20″43, while Daniel Dujinc beat five boards onMs. Pac-Manin a record time of 2’05″80.

The other available records to beat were too much for the competition, but I don’t blame them. HighestOut-RunScore (52,897,690), highestGhosts ‘n Goblinsscore (1,000,100), and highestDonkey Kongscore without using the hammer gasp (317,000) — beating any of these would be quite an amazing feat.
