Guitar Hero World Tourhas taken a lot of stick lately for its rather shamelessRock Bandcopypasta, but it would seem that forgery is the last of the game’s problems, if the lateststreamofissuesis anything to go by. Quite a fuss is being made over the game’s drum peripherals, with sensitivity issues being a big cause of concern.

Here is one such complaint from a PS3 user, cherry-picked byKotaku:

“I went and started the drum trainer just to get a feel for the drums. I noticed right off the bat that the red pad only registered that I was hitting it softly even when I hit it hard. So when I got to the trainer about hitting certain accent notes harder I failed out every time, even if I hit the pad with all my might.”

For the sake of equality, have a 360 complaint as well:

Hell is Us gameplay reveal

“Just picked up the full band version for 360, at first there was a problem with the pads registering, and the red pad just completely died a minute ago… Out of the box less than 3 hours…”

This is a big enough issue that Activision has stickied a post on its boards directing people tocustomer support. The support page runs you through the usual insulting guidelines (make sure it has batteries, etc.) before ending with warranty replacement details.

Black Ops 6 Season 5 Multiplayer Ransack Mode

This seems to mostly be affecting the drums, with not so much hatred directed at the other peripherals. It’s still bad news, though, and not a great start to the “new”Guitar Herodirection. If you’re going to copy another game, the least you could do is make a competent job of it, right?
