In an interview withG4TV,Halowriter and game creative director Joseph Staten teased a possible reappearance of Buck and crew inHalo: Reach, a squad-based shooter set to be unveiled in moving-pictures at theSpike Video Game Awardsshow in a few days.
“I can’t comment on any future plans for our ODSTs,” Staten said. “But it would be a shame if we made a game about the planet Reach — a place where Buck, the ODSTs squad leader was known to be — and not have him appear in some way, shape, or form.”
If you squintreal hardat the little people in theReachpromotional ad that shipped with copies ofHalo: ODST, you can see an ODST in the middle of the image. Also, twinkles and lights — but that was shortly before we lost conciousness.
