After some not-so-subtle hints earlier this week, here’s the official announcement from EA. There’s aDead Space 2demo coming just in time for your holiday festivities!
The demo goes on a worldwide launch on December 21st. It will “allow players to discover the Church of Unitology and help Isaac defeat the Necromorph outbreak in a gruesome, unforgiving battle on The Sprawl.” That doesn’t sound very festive, does it?
in the demo you’ll get to play with some new tools like the Javelin gun. You’ll also get to try out the stasis recharge and telekinesis ability. Best of all, you’ll get to use the new space suit, complete with jet packs.
Again, theDead Space 2demo hits Xbox Live and PSN on December 21st here in North America, and on the 22nd in Europe, some five weeks before the game’s launch. I’m really looking forward to this one.
