The new, redesigned PS3 costs only $299, andCnetreports that Sony’s cost is down to only $336 per system, according to aparts analysis.

What’s even more encouraging is that the analysis says that costs could come down even more, letting Sony gasp actually make a profit on the PS3s. The bastards still have my $600, though.
