According to Next Gen, Famitsu asked its readers what they thought the top 10 news stories of recent shows like E3 2007 and Tokyo’s PlayStation Premiere were, and Nintendo’s announcement ofWii Fittopped the list.

It looks like Japan is slightly more enthusiastic about the new Nintendo fitness peripheral than many ofour readersandeditorsare. TheWii Fitsoftware and board news even topped the impressiveMetal Gear Solid 4gameplay demo,and that’s not to mention the newSony PlayStation Portable redesignor any other PS3 or Xbox 360 title announcement.
