As Conrad told youlast night, Hall of Heroes is a character-sharing hub for the PS3 game3D Dot Game Heroes. In the game you can use the character editor to create your own in-game hero, so it makes sense that players would want a way to show off their designs.There’s a special section on the game’s official website that allows you to share custom heroes with others. Atlus is planning to reward fans with the best designs with Amazon videogames credit.
Check out the page. There’s already some good ones. You’ll also find the instructions on how to transfer your hero (involved a USB flash drive) and share them/use them. Atlus says that they’ll reject heroes deemed explicit or profane, so pass on the Dick Hero you’ve been imagining.
I have confirmed this morning that Jim will be uploading hishis Ekanshero for3D Dot Game Heroes. We should send out a press release or something. Stay tuned.
We’re also hoping for that inevitable Destructoid mascot hero. I tried and failed, sadly. One of you is going to have to make this.
