K’NEX are fun and so isMario Kart Wii. A new collaboration brings the two together, taking Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and the gang to the world of the popular building toy sets. These officially licensed sets will hit retailers this summer and will include build-able tracks and obstacles from the game as well as the Bros. in their own karts. The karts have a pull-back motor to make ’em go, which I’m sure is something like getting a boost mushroom power-up. There’s also bike sets. For these, Mario and Luigi will come in a wedge-shaped package that doubles as a ramp. Karts will be priced at $14.99 while bikes are only $7.99.

If you want to go big, get the Mario and Luigi Starting Line building Set, priced at $59.99. It is a version of the Bowser’s Castle track from the game, and comes with Sprinter Karts for Mario and Luigi, complete with battery powered motors. There’s 16 pieces of track and even a star power-up.
