Kagura: Portrait of Girlsis an upcoming3DS gamein the “Flying out enormous breasts hyper drama” genre. I guess it should come as no surprise that it’s already selling well. Even though they’re pretty much everywhere (and on the internet, usually for free), people always seem eager to spend their hard earned cash on some digital boobs. The game is currently#1 on Amazon of Japan’s videogame pre-order chart. Way to be a slave to those reproductive urges, human race. Just wait and see where that gets you in the long run.
All boobs aside, I really want to play this game for myself someday. I love 2D action games, and from the few screens of actual gameplay we’ve seen so far, that’s exactly whatKagurais. Lets just hope it’s a good one.

For those of you who aresurethat this game wont be released outside of Japan because “Nintendo”, don’t forget that the DS saw the release of several M-rated games, including theNintendo endorsedGTA: Chinatown Wars. If the game doesn’t come out here, it wont be solely because of it’s rating. It will be due to doubts of its chances of financial success outside of Japan, which is valid concern. As much as we love boobs here in the West, we tend to be a little more ashamed about breast-obsessed ways, especially compared to the “lets putcleavage shaped mouse padsin the display windows of department stores and not worry about it” culture of Japan.
So what say you, Westerners? Would you proudly purchase and play this boob based battle action game if it were released in your region?
