Following on from yesterday’s full trailer, IO Interactive has let some fresh new screens forKane & Lynch 2: Dog Daysslip onto the Internet. Although the selection is small, we get a good idea of what James Seth Lynch and Adam “Kane” Marcus will be getting up to in Shanghai — shooting. Lots of shooting.
Interestingly enough, the screens seem to depict the same low-fi visual style as the trailer did, making everything look like it’s been filmed with a bad mobile phone cam. It’s not yet known if that’s just for all the promo material, or if the game itself will have a similar visual effect. Could be quite interesting.
In any case, I still thinkKane & Lynchhas massive potential as a game series and I’m keeping my fingers crossed forDog Days. I really hope it turns out well for IO this time around.
