In Germany two different online stores list a Kinect Lightsaber peripheral for Kinect Star Wars. What happened to “You Are The Controller” there, Microsoft? What about your controller-free future?
Before we get to far it should be said that we’re not sure what to make of this yet.Amazon Germanylists a November 17 release date for the Lightsaber. Too bad there’s no pictures. Another German online shop,Promediama, lists the same thing for about the same price.Eurogamersays that the sabers include light effects but no batteries.
Will the Kinect even ‘see’ this Lightsaber? If it will, save some cash and just get a sawed off broomstick instead.
