Putting together what seems to me as a derivative, uninspired, cookie-cutter military shooter with Linkin Park sounds like a match made in heaven. Only makes sense that the band will be headlining the soundtrack forMedal of Honor.

To be fair, I haven’t listened to anything the band produced save whatever tripe got pushed through to commercial radio. I mean, it all could have been crap but I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt ever so briefly. The song used in thisMedal of Honorteaser, “The Catalyst,” isn’twretched.I’m not going to run out and buy Linkin Park’s next album (A Thousand Suns, releasing September 14) on its basis but I’ve certainly heard worse from them.
