We’ve been dropped into the pit of the Centipede, who seems not at all pleased to see Alice. It’s interesting, in a way. The exposition for the classic arcade gameCentipedeis that you’re a little elfish dude with a magic wand, fighting the centipede and other bugs in a magical mushroom forest. And here we have little Alice, fresh from acquiring an ice wand, in a mushroom forest and beset upon by a huge centipede. It’s probably nothing, but I find it an amusing parallel.
