If you’re a fan of LucasArts’ classic PC adventure games, you’ve probably already rapid-fire F5’d your way into the light on this one, but if not, here’s what all the fuss was aboutyesterday. LucasArts has announced viatheir Twitterthat they’ve partnered with Steam to bring the company’s back catalog of adventure games to the digital service for your point-and-click pleasure.

Among the titles already slated for arrival areLoom,The Dig,Battlefront 2, and the Special EditionMonkey Islandthat’s also coming to XBLA. They’re scheduled to start hitting Steam on July 8th, and have reportedly undergone testing to ensure that they’ll run in Windows Vista or XP with minimal system requirements and on an array of hardware.
