Amidst all this classic adventure title brouhaha, LucasArts has apparently been busy creating a fresh downloadable IP for Xbox LIVE Arcade.
According to aJoystiq“inside source,” the title is an interesting side-scroller calledLucidity. Here’s the interesting part: rather than controlling the game’s protagonist, Sofi, like inMetroidor whatever, players will be tasked with providing the environmental tools she needs to progress through a level. In other words, Sofi has autonomy and the player is merely a contributor.
Sounds delightfully, uh,indie. We’ll definitely keep our eyes peeled for this one if or when LucasArts decides to announce it.
