A year has passed sinceManhunt 2was released in the United States, and so far nobody has been murdered as a result. The game was banned by the BBFC, meaning it could not be legally sold in the UK for fear that doing so would have an adverse effect on society.
The banwas overturnedafter a lengthy appeal and a promise of edits. The gutted version ofManhunt 2will nowgo on salein Britain on October 31.
That’s pretty much all I ever wanted from this whole stupid scenario. I never wanted to buyManhunt 2, and I won’t be picking it up when it launches at the end of the month. But I wanted that to bemydecision, not the decision of an anonymous rater.
Thus order is restored and free will prevails.
