Everyone always has a different spin on the numbers. The first thing that sexy Samit Sarkar thought when he saw this month’s NPD data was, “God of War III(expletive deleted)-ed (expletive deleted) up, and OMGMLB 10 The Showkicks ass too!” My first thought was, “A nearly 50% sales increase for the Wii, record-breaking sales for DS, and nearly 2 million copies sold ofPokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver? That’s (expletive deleted)-en bananas!”
Neither of us is wrong, but it just goes to show that the eyes, and mind, are first slave to the heart. If it weren’t for Samit, I wouldn’t have even noticed that the wordsMLB 10 The Showwere on the list. Most of the time, I can’t evenreadthe word MLB. It’s not even a word or something.
