Infinity Ward has announced that a brand new security patch forModern Warfare 2is currently in QA and prepped to launch on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The game is still heavily played, but the PS3 version has especially fallen foul of scumbag cheaters. IW is on the warpath, naturally.
“The latest patch forModern Warfare 2has finished production and is now going through internal quality assurance. This new title update will address security issues that have affected online play,” said community manager Robert Bowling. “We plan to release this update for all platforms (Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC). No release date is set at this time. Once an ETA is established, it will be posted here.”
