Monday Night Combatwas just announced today for Xbox LIVE Arcade byUber Entertainment. Even though we honestly don’t know much about this class-based shooter quite yet, I get the feeling it’ll be one to watch. Let’s just say the first trailer does a pretty terrific job of capturing your attention.
As with virtually all other class-centric games, all the major player types are there. Assault, Tank, Sniper, Support, Gunner, and Assassin (dibs!) — standard stuff, right? Based on this first look at the game, it seems like the crazed sport setting will be helpful in differentiatingMonday Night Combat.
Also, one of the modes is called “Big Money! Big Prizes!” These guys know who their audience is. Nothing in terms of a firm release date was given, but you can count on it getting out sometime this year. Make sure to hit that first link if you’re interested — it’s full of good details.
