Warner Bros. has announced theMortal Kombat Arcade Kollectionfor PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade today.
The downloadable package will be a collection of the classic arcade trilogy —Mortal Kombat,Mortal Kombat 2, andUltimate Mortal Kombat 3. It’s being developed with Other Ocean with help from NetherRealm studios, and will feature online play, leaderboards, achievements/trophies, along with the same gameplay you likely remember.
It’s out “late summer,” and it’s only $9.99 or 800 MS Points, which is a damned steal if you ask me. But consideringhow good the newMortal Kombatis, I have a feeling I’ll have a hard time going back to the originals. Maybe for nostalgia sake, though… is that worth $10? You tell me!
