A few days agowe reported thatMortal Kombat IIdisappeared entirely from the PlayStation Network. Currently it still isn’t available through the PlayStation Store or even on purchasers’ download lists. Thankfully, there is some decent news on the horizon for those who feel affronted by the issue. Sony is actively working to get the game back up.

A Mortal Kombat II specification is being upgraded in connection with the release of the latest firmware update. This is one of our top titles on PlayStation Network, we are working diligently to get this back up on the PlayStation Store.

If you’re confused, feel free to join the club. Did the last firmware update intend to pullMK IIfrom PSN? When will the next firmware update that will include the “specification” be available for consumers? Lastly, why would Sony pullMK IIfrom the store?
