Namco is digging up the classics, dusting them off, and cleaning them up for re-release under their new brand, Namco Generations. These digitally distributed games will come to the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade with high-definition graphics and enhanced gameplay.

First among the upcoming retro revivals isPAC-MAN Championship Edition DX, coming to XBLA on November 17th and PSN on November 23rd. Additional titles in development includeGalaga Legions DXandAero-Cross, a reimagining of Namco’s 1985 arcade game,Metro-Cross. More classic franchise revival announcements can be expected throughout 2011, says Namco Bandai.
