I’m the kind of guy who would spend half a grand just to save fifty bucks, so throw a game with a $5 price tag my way, and I’ll surely bite. Such was the case withDefense Grid: The Awakening, whichis on sale at Steamright now.

As pointed out by the fine gentlemen atRock, Paper, Shotgun,Defense Gridhas been marked from $20 down to a mere $5, and will remain obscenely cheap until May 13. I know another tower defense-esque game,Plants vs. Zombies,came out recently, but Crazy Dave should be perfectly fine by himself for a few hours.

Resident PC game extraordinaire Jonathan RossreviewedDefense Grid, and he says we should all buy it for great justice. Plus, it’s an indie game, so you can feel all warm and fuzzy inside whenever you play the thing.
