So I guess theMother/Earthboundcommunity has been talking about this for a while, but I didn’t see the connection until this morning as I was cruising around theGame Watch Impresslooking for news.LoZ: Spirit Trackshas been really hard to notice in general. Something about the game is just totally ignorable to me.
I guess I should say “was totally ignorable” because as a hardcoreMother 3fan, I now feel a pressing need to find out everything I can about the game, with hopes that there are a few otherMother-shout outs therein.LoZ: Link’s Awakeninghad more than a fewSuper Mario Brosreferences, and theStar Foxcameo embedded in unused files still present on theLoZ: Ocarina of TimeROM still gets me all giddy and silly. To think that the new Zelda game may have multipleMother 3references isn’ttotallycrazy, is it?
How about it,Mother 3fans? Does this shameless fan service get you excited about an otherwise predictable-lookingnewZeldagame?
