Despite previous reports indicating otherwise, RedOctane hasset the record straight with 1UP. The Wii version ofGuitar Hero III: Legends of Rock— like all other versions of the title — will support online play out of the box.
The confusion arose earlier in the week whenProG reportedRedOctane President Kai Huang as saying “There won’t be online initially for the Wii.” Seems pretty clear, right? Apparently, Huang was referring to the game’s imminent downloadable content; given the storage limitations of the Wii (limited internal storage, no established external peripheral), this could pose to be a challenge for RedOctane.
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rockships to stores on October 28, so start planning your outfits accordingly.
