The latest batch of tracks that will appear onGuitar Hero Smash Hitshave been revealed by Activision, and they once again look pretty damned good.
For those just tuning in,Guitar Hero Smash Hitsis a full-band game that takes tracks from Activision’s previous guitar-onlyGuitar Herotitles. The publisher has asked fans to determine which songs should be revealed, on a per-game basis. Thefirst batch of songswere revealed from the original game; this second batch from the follow-up, Guitar Hero II. Surprise.

I’ll readily admit that I feelRock Band(the interface, the base gameplay, the DLC model) is far superior toGuitar Hero World Tour(on whichSmash Hits‘ engine is based on), it’s hard tonotget excited about this. I’ll say it again —Smash Hitsis shaping up to have one of the most solid track-listings in any guitar and/or band game. No surprise, as it’s quite literally taking the “best” tracks for the previous games, leaving most of the filler by the wayside.
The entire track list from the game, as revealed so far, can be found after the jump. Do want?

[Thanks, power-glove!]
