Rights-holder Paradox and “games industry service division” Digitial Development Management want to make aConan the Barbariangame. They don’t actually have a publisher … or a developer … but they want to make that damn game!
Paradox and DDM are currently looking for somebody to work on a newConangame, and they’ve stressed that it needn’t be about the 2011 remake they’ve got coming up (seriously Hollywood? Have you any original ideas left?). If you like to hear the lamentations of their women, this could be good news.
The last Conan game was the ill-fated MMO,Hyborian Adventures.Before that, THQ had a go with the not-very-goodConanin 2007.Not exactly a star-studded videogame career, but who knows? Third time lucky this generation?
Who do you think should make aConangame? I say give it to Koei, let’s haveHyborian Warriorsand be done with it.
