Nothing screams “epic” like characters will gravely voices, and this latest trailer for Vigil Games’Darksidershas them in spades.
Everyone sounds like they smoke six packs a day or is getting over some ghastly cold or just think growling makes you sound scarier. Well, they’re right. All the characters inDarksidersare downright terrifying, even the potentially sexy chick with grey hair, because she’s all talking about stenches which — right off the bat — is a total turn-off.
But it works forDarksiders, which looks like it’s going to deliver a bunch of wild, third-person action when it hits stores on January 1. Yeah, the game’s publisher THQ was clever enough to releaseDarksiders— which takes place post-apocalypse — on the first day of the New Year. High five to that marketing decision, guys. If anything is going to get me to push through a hangover to get to GameStop, it’s definitely killing demons and zombies with a big-ass sword. While riding a horse.
