I’m going to dash your hopes right now before you get worked up — these shirts are not for the US. They are being sold over atKonamistyle.jp, and nothing is stopping you from dropping your yen there (3,465 to be exact, or $32 each), but Konami USA has not announced a similar promotion. Konamistyle is not so user-friendly if you can’t read Japanese, if you know what I mean.
The shirts are cool, for sure, but what’s even cooler is that buying a shirt gets you an item card to use inMetal Gear Onlinewhich gives you a virtual version of the shirt as well. Yet another day in the eternal saga of how much cool stuff Japan gets that America does not. Get used to it, ladies and gents.
