After a few weeks of teasing, Crystal Dynamic’s newTomb Raidertitle has been revealed. Simply calledTomb Raider(that’s how we do series reboots these days), the details of the game will be revealed in the next issue ofGame Informer.
As rumored, the title will follow a young Lara Croft who finds herself washed up on a mysterious island when a storm destroys a boat she was traveling on. As the only survivor, Lara is put to the test as she fights for survival.
“Forget everything you knew aboutTomb Raider,” said Crystal Dyanmics studio head Darrell Gallagher, “This is an origins story that creates Lara Croft and takes her on a character defining journey like no other.”
