A new trailer forYakuza 4today features one of the new main characters, Shun Akiyama. The trailer makes him out to be a ladies man that gets a bit too far into it, but his backstory is a bit more interesting than that. He was formerly homeless, but has moved up to own a club and a loan company. And being one of the fourYakuza 4main characters, he’s also a badass. The money he used to build his mini empire literally fell into his lap. He had to fight for it once he got it, but he made it work.
But in this trailer? He’s just an ass-kicking hornball. It doesn’t make him seem as cool as he is. I suppose he looks a bit cooler in these new screenshots, though.
I’m so pumped forYakuza 4. While we didn’t officially reviewYakuza 3, it’s among my top ten for the year. I listed it in my GOTY noms. This next game, coming out early next year, is going to be even better. I can’t wait.
