Yes, you heard me right. Nicole’s not satisfied with the film biz alone; apparently the 40-year old actress has quite a weakness for the make-you-smarter DS titles. Perhaps she namedropped at the right time, for now it seems she has been chosen to front the Nintendo advertising campaign for its “brain training” titles. While this news doesn’t quite hold up to the sizzle of theSalt N Pepa reunion, it certainly made me perk and take notice.

Personally I’m ambivalent to Nicole, but I’m wondering what demographic Nintendo thought they would appeal to by including the actress in their campaign. If this is to set a trend, I have several votes for famous people I would like to see representing game product. Michael Jackson is an obvious choice, as he has such appeal with kids. Place any game on Scarlett Johnansson’s naked breasts and I’m likely to buy it. Also, I’d be willing to pay to see Paris Hilton playingNintendogson her pink DS in jail.
