No Apparent Reason Parties, NARPs for short, are a long standing tradition here at Destructoid. NARPs are parties hosted by Dtoiders for Dtoiders and everyone is welcome to attend a party. It’s about playing games and interacting with other people all in the name of having a good time.
It’s the last month of the year so let’s go out with a bang! Christmas and New Years are both great reasons to party up a storm and what better way to ring in the new year then with other Dtoiders? Read on to see what NARPs are happening in Australia, Chicago, San Francisco and elsewhere!

Its been a huge year for Dtoid Australia as they’ve seen their members triple in size. Now it’s time to celebrate the end of the year and look forward to the next one. They will be attending the usual trivia night at the Mana Bar and having the monthly movie night, but on top of that, a New Years Eve party is planned to take place at Fooliz’s place. It will be a masquerade party, so find an awesome mask and get ready to ring in the new year!

For December, DtoidSF has two awesome events left that you can be a part of. The first is Umloud, a charity event for Child’s Play. At DNA Lounge, for a $10 donation, you can come by and watch fellow gamers put on aRock Bandshow for you guys, as well as enter raffles to win awesome prizes! Its a great event for a GREAT cause!
