I don’t have to ask you if you remember the Nintendo Entertainment System classic, Technos’Super Dodge Ball. Of course you do. And you probably already know that Aksys Games is lining upSuper Dodgeball Brawlers, theirupdateto the classic, for a spring 2008 release. But what you didn’t know about is that Aksys is endorsing a collection of music that pays tribute to the music of the original game.
No Balls, No Gloryis an internet EP release by The Bad Dudes, a multinational group of musicians that releases covers of video game music. This release contains 16 remixed songs from Kazuo Sawa’s original score for the 1989 NES game, all arranged with each dodge ball team’s country of origin in mind.
Project Producer Mustin said, “I’m excited about releasing this project in conjunction with Aksys games and theirBrawlersrelease. I hope the music pays suitable tribute to theSuper Dodge Ballvideo game we all played as kids.”
This collection of music will be used by video game software developerAksys Gamesin promotion ofSuper Dodgeball Brawlers,which will be released on May 27th, 2008 for a MSRP of $29.99.
