Retro Studio’s revealed that it currently has no plans to follow up the critically acclaimedDonkey Kong Country Returns. Don’t reach for the razor blades yet, however, because the team did not rule out the possibility.

“I wasn’t even thinking about doing a sequel forMetroid Primeuntil Retro showed me the last scene in the game, which was near the end of development,” said producer Kensuke Tanabe. “I wouldn’t say we won’t do a sequel, but we don’t have anything planned at this time.”
