I remember when I firstpreviewedSuper Meat Boyover a year ago. I instantly fell in love with the game, but from the fairly minimal response that my preview garnered, I was worried that no one else would appreciate it. I can’t tell you how happy I am to see the game become one of the most beloved and talked about titles of 2010.

That said, you haven’t really made it until the day that someone makes a hack for you inSuper Smash Bros. Brawl. I’m pleased to report for that for Meat Boy, that day has arrived, thanks toTwitter user Spiderjj45. From the looks of this video, it looks like he controls just like Kirby, which makes sense considering Meat Boy’s size and proportions. It would be cool if down the line, they can alter his physics and move set so that he plays like Meat Boy as well (meaning, non-stop jumping, exploding, and saw blades). For now though, I’m totally happy with this well crafted and totally free DLC.
