UK-based Codemasters has announced thatOperation Flashpoint: Red River— its latest tactical combat game with an emphasis on an authentic experience — is due for release on April 21 within EMEA regions, and April 26 throughout America.
The game is set in Tajikistan (no, I swear it is a real place!), and follows the story of US marines as they fight against insurgents. Codemasters’ latest trailer shows new gameplay set through the eyes of Corporal Ryan Balletto, and takes a look at the game’s environments.Operation Flashpoint: Red Riversupports four-player co-op, with the seamless ability to drop in and out of the game at any time. Players can continue to build up XP across all modes, using the experience to upgrade weapons and adjust their character to their own style of gameplay.
Operation Flashpoint: Red Riverwill be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Games for Windows.
