It’s simply that gamers were bound to make themselves disappointed no matterwhatthe nextFinal Fantasywas going to be. Soon we will be able to relive those memories whenFinal Fantasy VIIIcomes to the PlayStation Network for use on the PS3 and PSP....

Games on Demand: H.A.W.X., Juiced 2, Disney Sing It

I likeTom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. as a game, but I hate the name. See, I hate that it sounds a bit red-necky. I could see it on the back of a pick-up truck window. And that phrase “watch you like a hawk” sounds silly. Also, I hate real hawks. They’re unnecessary big, and they scream. Like or hate the name,H.A.W.X.is one of this week’s Xbox 360 Games on Demand. the 6GB download is $29....

Gordon Freeman not likely to change soon

People who say that Gordon Freeman is an amazing character confuse me.I’m not trying to be critical in saying that he’s not complex in and of himself, but it’s the reflection of the world Gordon lives in and projection on the part of the player that create what depth of character he has. And it works very well. Valve seems to know that. Gabe Newell, in a conversation with CVG, has expressed that Gordon’s probably not going to be more than an arm holding a weapon for the foreseeable future....
