That’s right: it appears that the Wii’s accessible controls not only make it the system of choice forgrandmas and fat chicks, but also personal heroes of mine. San Diego is nice, I guess. It’s a boring kind of nice, with blandly nice people, sufficiently nice food, and painfully predictable (but nice) weather. With this, Strong Bad’s third episode in a planned five-part series, the honeymoon period is officially over. Any of the initial thrill that longtime fans of Strong Bad may have gotten from seeing their favorite Web cartoon character make the jump to a leading role in a videogame has likely come to an end. Now the series really needs to step up it up in order to maintain the interest of both people like myself (who could have cared less about the character before these games hit), and Anthony Burch (who was very familiar with the mountains ofcompletely freeStrong Bad comedy already around before these games came into existence)....

Sony brings some great news for PSP owners out there dying for something else to play. Gamesindustry.bizhas learned that SCEA is developing at least seven new downloadable PlayStation Portable titles for the store. A source revealed that we can expect three action games, two music-based games, one racing and one shooting game, all developed internally for Sony’s portable. Sony is also courting third-party game makers to bring some new PSP titles to the portable version of the PlayStation Store....

Ah, the icy stare of a sociopath. Today Marc Ecko Entertainment released some new screenshots for their iPhone title,Dexter. They also released some clues as to what you’ll be doing in the title if you choose to pick it up this summer. I should have guessed that a Dexter-based game would turn into an “act like a sociopath” simulation. Among the puzzle and stealth elements, players will be tasked with the responsibility of guarding Dexter’s violent nature....
