If this Strange Journey trailer doesn’t get you pumped up

…then you have no gaming soul. Or, you hate JRPGs, dungeon crawlers, the Nintendo DS or Atlus. Or, you hate me. No, really. Atlus has released the first full trailer for their upcoming DS game,Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey. It’s the game I always wanted but never knew I would be getting on the DS. I mean, it’s rated M for Mature, and has “partial nudity” and “sexual themes.” There’s a dick-faced phallus-like demon....

iPad Review Round-up: April

We’ve got enough iPad games here to write reviews everyday, but we’re going to spare you (and ourselves) by only writing up the ones that we’re interested in, and the ones we think you’ll be interested in. That’s not to say that we don’t think your iPad game is worth our time, dear developers. It’s just that we honestly can’t play them all, and…well, we’ve been burned a few times. I’m not calling out any names, but I think we all know that there are some $....

Kane and Lynch 2 scores some box art

Kane and Lynch aren’t exactly the most gentlemanly fellows to grace cover art, but forKane and Lynch 2: Dog Days, it actually kind of works. The intentionalimperfect presentationstyle of the game — artifacts, blur, washed out colors — translates nicely to the box art. For anyone not familiar with this sequel, the art probably won’t sell them on the product … or will it? At any rate, I can’t picture moms buying their kid the game after taking a good look at the front cover....

Kevin Durant named NBA Elite 11 cover athlete

EA Sports has picked Oklahoma City Thunder small forward Kevin Durant as the cover athlete for its basketballreboot,NBA Elite 11. He led the Thunder to a 50-win season and a playoff berth, and he also made the NBA All-Star team for the first time....

According to a press release sent out today, that lost sequel,Blaster Master: Destination Fred, will be arriving on the Wii Virtual Console April 26th for 500 Wii points....
