I’ve been followingCrayon Physics Deluxesince I first laid eyes and hands on itat GDC. A cuboid is a convex polyhedron. A rectangular cuboid has three pairs of equal, opposite rectangular faces. Each pair of adjacent faces meets in a right angle. I’m sure mathematicians created the cuboid for a variety of good reasons. I’m absolutely certain one of those reasons was not to facilitate the creation of a PlayStation Network title. Konami’sSuikodenseries is one of the most venerable and respected RPGs of all time, which is quite a feat considering some titles in the series have become such rare and expensive collector’s items that only the lucky and the rich can get hold of them. With the Nintendo DS being one of the last true strongholds for Japanese RPGs, it makes sense thatSuikodenwould eventually find its way onto the handheld platform....

This is a video review ofSaints Row 2, wherein I weigh the relative strengths and weaknesses of the different gameplay mechanics and narrative conventions in an effort to, eventually, assign a numerical score denoting the game’s value. See what I did there? Time again for Discountoid. Generally, as the holiday season accelerates towards its inevitable climax, videogame deals hover right around where they are the rest of the year, with a little more emphasis on family-friendly titles and a lot of accessories. This season is anything but typical, however, so maybe we’ll be seeing things get a little crazier in the coming weeks. This week? Pretty much what I would expect....

A Chinese Massive Multiplayer Online game called Cabel recently offered banned players and new players the chance to regain old accounts or get new accounts in exchange for donating blood. The offer was given after 12,000 players hacked the game to boost their stats and were in turn banned from the game. Over 100 people have signed up to donate at the event which will take place tomorrow in the city of Nanjing....
