GameTrailers TV wentDante’s Infernocrazy last night in its latest episode. The crew headed down to Electronic Arts’ Redwood Shores offices, home of the game’s developer Visceral Studios, and came back with the first look at the game in action. I had a chance to play a good deal ofDante’s Infernowhen I visited Visceral in May, and while it was early, it showed a lot of promise to be a kick ass, third-person action experience....

Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine wants to kick your ass. Well, not literally, but with the original track he wrote for the upcomingGuitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. The song “Sudden Death” (spoiler alert!) plays during the game’s final battle, a face-off with the demigod of rock. It’s a finger-blistering number written specifically for the game, the intention to push theGuitar Heroplayer’s skills to the limit. Mustaine is proud of the track, which he wrote based on a script and game illustrations provided to him by Neversoft....

Considering he’s the definitive voice of Solid Snake, the least Sony could do would be to allow David Hayter a chance to have some considerable involvement in the sadly inevitableMetal Gear Solidmovie. This October, DC Comics is teaming up with Sony to deliver a six-partGod of Warcomic book series, from DC’s WildStorm imprint. Not much is known about the comics, other than it’s being written by Marv Wolfman, known for his work onThe New Teen TitansandCrisis on Infinite Earths. A new issue will hit stands each month leading up toGod of War III‘s scheduled March release. As a huge fan of the series, I’d say more Kratos and anything that explores the fiction of the universe is welcome....

Electronic Arts has just announced the very first downloadable content pack (note:holy crap, there arealreadyarmor packs up for sale? You waste no time, EA!) forDead Space 2. It’s calledSeveredand it features two extra single-player chapters featuring the characters from Visceral’s Wii/PS3 spin-off,Dead Space: Extraction. Players will step into the shoes of Gabe, a Sprawl security guard who is attempting to escape the Necromorph attack with Lexine. It’ll be set at some point during Isaac’s Clarke’s own nightmare....
