Donut Games is one of my favorite iPhone developers. It does a lot of “casual” stuff, but it consistently demonstrates that “casual” doesn’t have to mean “crap”, andSuperstar Chefsis a fine example. This arcade-style platformer has been free since the dawn of time, so you can download it whenever you can. I highly recommend that you do, as well. Playing as a whimsical chef, the aim is to collect fruit while avoiding water, spikes and a number of bizarre enemies....

EA Sports announced yesterday that a full sequel to thetremendously successful, critically acclaimed workout programEA Sports Activeis currently in development, set for release this fall. The sequel, tentatively namedEA Sports Active 2.0, is reaching out to more customers — it’s coming to the PS3, iPhone, and iPod Touch as well as the Wii. The product will come with leg and arm straps, both of which will include their own motion sensors, and a heart rate monitor to, uh, monitor your workout....

Ubisoft and Microsoft are throwing a party forSplinter Cell: Convictionon April 1 in Los Angeles. The celebration will be taking place at the Les Deux Nightclub in Hollywood where fans and celebrities will be playing through someSplinter Cellco-op sessions. The event goes on from 2:00PM to 6:00PM with a red carpet premiere event taking place at 8:00PM. If there’s one thing that’s a given in life, it has been to expect the unexpected. GRiD‘s first patch has just hit the PC and can bedownloaded hereif you’re a racing fan who also … I don’t know … really enjoys patching software? It’s hard to be irreverent all the time. The patch is only available for the PC-DVD version of the game at the time of writing, meaning those who downloaded the game via Steam, Metaboli or Direct2Drive will have to wait a little longer. WhenGuitar Hero IIIwas quietly (and maybe accidentally)announced last weekno other information was available other than the fact that it would be released for all major consoles (Wii, PlayStation 2/3, Xbox 360). Now, according to aGamespotinterview with Red Octane, some interesting details about this anticipated sequel have been revealed. First off, I would have bet my first born child that the chance of Wii online support was slim to none. To my chagrin, the game is now confirmed to not only include some form of online play, but downloadable content as well....

Modern Warfare Reflex Edition, the Wii hand-me-down version of Activision’s popularCall of Dutytitle, shares at least one major issue with its bigger brothers — hackers have torn it to pieces.
