If you have a fabulous memory you may recall that way back in 2009, there was arumorfloating around that Cryptic Studios might be handling aNeverwinter NightsMMO. You may also remember that there was acooperative RPGNeverwintercoming from Cryptic Studios around the same time. Well, today we’ve found out that both of these ideas have merged together to form the upcoming free-to-play MMORPGNeverwinter. According to IGN, the game will not play like theNeverwinter Nightsgames but instead be more action oriented while still maintaining its Dungeons and Dragons roots....

The average videogame player is, what now… 30 years of age or so? But, despite our grizzly neckbeards and massive beer guts, we still get carded for everything. We get carded for booze. We get carded for cigarettes. And if this newly introduced bill passes the U.S. House of Representatives, we’ll be carded for our videogame purchases, too. The Video Games Ratings Enforcement Act would require ID checks for the purchase of any M or AO rated title....

I could barely contain my joy when I announced that Codemasters was bringing moreOverlordto us, and it’s good to see that Wii fans will be able to enjoy this darkly comic IP thanks toDark Legend, a game which puts players in the clanking boots of a younger Overlord getting to grips with his power. It looks like the graphics could stand to improve, as Nintendo has proven that the Wii is capable of far better than this, but hopefully Codemasters can utilize the Wii to its fullest and make a very intuitive “evilPikmin” style experience....

I’m not entirely clear on what a webisode is, but Atlus has been making them for the upcomingPersona 3: FES, and they’ve sent over three new ones today.The release ofPersona 3: FESis right around the corner (April 22nd), and fans are chomping at the bit for the PlayStation 2 RPG. These three webisodes, “The Truth,” “Atonement,” and “The Sacrifice,” give us a bit of a better look at the game. But I can’t help but wonder if they go into spoiler territory....

If you skipped out on theMadden 09special edition packaging because of the hefty price, then you missed out on grabbing the newestHead Coachoffering. Don’t worry EA always has it covered. Today, a demo ofNFL Head Coach 09is available on Xbox Live Marketplace. The demo will give players a taste of the purely simulation based game. Some of the improvements over last year’s offering are improved NFL Combine ratings, menu system, and expanded rosters....

There’s not much to go off here, but from what we can see, this N64 emulator looks like it’s shaping up to be solid. The strangely named 3G4 was developed by a 14-year-old, believe it or not. I don’t know what mojo this teen is packing, but Super Mario 64 looks to be running nicely in the above video.We hearthat the emulator runs pretty great so far. There are issues likeduplicate button registers, delay of presses, and crashes when heavy gameplay occurs, but those are being looked into....

It’s been along time sincewe’ve heard anything about theReBootreboot. Well, there’s a teaser now and this should make fans of the old series very happy. The movie is being worked on by Rainmaker Entertainment, who used to be called Mainframe Entertainment. That’s right, the same studio that worked on the original series is behind the revival of the franchise.According to the YouTube page hosting the video, we can expect the movie to come out sometime next year....
