God, I love the DS. I love it. I love it. I’m not sure I have ever purchased as many games in a mad white heat as I have for the little portable Ninty. If they keep up at this rate, DQ is going to overpower theFinal Fantasyseries....
SHOCKING! Spotted at the Nintendo E3 press conference at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood was Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg. No word on what trouble he may be looking to cause, but word on the street is he’s looking to recruit “graduates.” Not sure what that means. But the real news here is that we are indeed at the Nintendo press conference, live and ready to go. Our own Chad Concelmo and Dale North will be providing the live blog shortly, so stay tuned....

Valve’s Gabe Newell was among the many in EA’s parade of speakers during today’s EA press conference. Newell took the stage to talk a bit aboutLeft 4 Dead, and how the “Director” AI could scale gameplay in real time. Earlier today, we saw two short demonstrations of this Director AI in action. In the first example, four co-op players weren’t doing very well. They were low on ammo and inaccurate in shooting....
Capcom’s latest press release for the hotly anticipated US version ofTatsunoko vs. Capcomhas some interesting new details on what’s going to be different between this version of the game and the original Japanese one. In addition to the five new characters, Capcom also mentions that they had to remove one of the original characters due to licensing issues. No mention of who the removed character is, or who any of the new five will be, but I’d love to see some more Darkstalkers characters make an appearance....

Don’t panic, anybody!Edge of Twilight, the steampunk action game that Destructoid has been anxious for since forever, is still calledEdge of Twilight. Developer Fuzzyeyes was apparently involved in a bit of legal nonsense, trying to make sure the game could have its name without infringing on the copyright of EDGE Games. So yeah, that’s been resolved. There really isn’t much of a reason to run this story, outside of the fact that I’m really hyped for this game and love having an excuse to talk about it....

Game producer Hiromichi Tanaka said “It will have its own religion. It’ll be a really unique type of world.” He hints that it will have both medieval and sci-fi elements, so you won’t be able to call it a game that takes place in the past or future....
