The best Silent Hill Nurse cosplay ever

Pyramid Head usually steals the show when it comes toSilent Hillcosplay. In this case however, the Nurse easily outshines Pyramid Head. The outfit, the veins, and the way the Nurse moves; all of it is beautifully captured by photographerJudith Stephens. The photo shoot took place during Anime Central 2009 last weekend, where for the most part, the cosplay at Anime Central was pretty lame, as evidence by thesephotos from Japanator....

These Valhalla Knights 2 videos are just … no

I’ve never playedValhalla Knights, and if these videos for the sequel are indicative of the series, I think it’s very understandable. Why was the above video even released for public consumption? It’s one of the most depressing examples of gameplay I’ve ever seen. The above footage showcasesValhalla Knights 2‘s co-op and aside from looking buggy as Hell (got to love the guy who’s just gliding around on the screen) it is one of the most drab and boring videos I’ve seen in a while....

This week on Xbox LIVE Arcade: Qix++

You rememberQix, right? That great old game where you draw lines, trying to fill the majority of a stage while not getting hit by the annoying squiggly line monster and its minions. It was and still is loads of fun, especially if you happen to be a big risk taker. “Watch this. I’m going to beat the level using a single line. Come on, come on, 90% of the way there … 95% … s**t!...

Tony Hawk: RIDE is out, #tonyhawktuesday

If I was a game I wouldn’t dream of debuting on the same morning two mass marketed follow-ups to unique and successful IPs did. But I’m pretty sure if I was game, I wouldn’t have huge muscles. Or a brain. And I would be much less smudge resistant. So, I probably wouldn’t know any better than to launch alongside Ubisoft’sAssassin’s Creed 2and Valve’sLeft 4 Dead 2likeTony Hawk: RIDEdid yesterday morning....

When I was your age: Bionic Commando Rearmed vs. Bionic Commando

Maybe you have fond 8-bit memories like I do, of a time when a “good cinematic” was an image of face with a flashing mouth and a jump button was a luxury. Or maybe you don’t, and I have shoes older than you.Either way, I think it’s been established that GRIN’sBionic Commando Rearmedis not only agood game, but a damned fine remake and a beautiful homage to an original. Don’t believe us?...
