When I think college sports, I think of the wonderful times that I had living in Columbia, South Carolina. I happened to live fairly close to Williams-Bryce Stadium where the Gamecocks played, and every gameday Saturday was an absolute mess. It would take me over an hour to get to my apartment, find a spot, and navigate through the gluttonous pile that seemed to pour out of the stadium. Luckily, NCAA Football isn’t about what I experienced as a citizen, it’s about the game....

I knew theKorg DS-10music software for the DS did some cool things, but I never thought it would interact with the human mouth. It wasn’t really made to, but with the quick addition of a drinking straw, some tape, and… a mouth, and you’ll have something close to a talkbox, or a voice modulator. The video above demonstrates the construction and use of this mock talkbox, complete with raver shades....

Let’s Clock! No seriously, that is the name ofa brand new applicationcoming to DSiWare in Japan on October 14. Despite already havingthreedownloadable clocks, a brand new one calledLet’s Clockis on the way, bringing a variety of scenery with it to make telling the time look more fun. This is simplyunbelievable. Really, can we cool it with the clocks from now on, please? This will make five clocks, and that’s not even counting the fact that the DSialreadyhas an internal clock that doesn’t cost one thin dime....

Well kids, here it is. Weighing in at just over a minute long, theDuke Nukem Foreverteaser is just as cheesy as you’d hoped it would be, and then some. As you might expect, there isn’t much of anything in the way of actual gameplay footage to be seen here, but if the game has been in development for over ten years, it’s bound to be incredible, right? Let the onslaught of new images continue! Sony has delivered more stills of the DIY platformer game,LittleBigPlanet. Not only are we treated to a few, adorable sackcloth characters, we get a small glimpse into the level design system. Now, this is the sort of game that I’d have to wait at least six months to pick up, since I don’t particularly want to work to have my fun. After a look at the screens that depict a level in the process of being built, I’m really excited....

Did you know the Balance Board is apparently its own console now? That’s what Nintendo claimed when they annouced the latest Balance Board game,Wii Fit Plus. Is your regularWii Fitnot giving you enough of a workout? Don’t worry! Now you can not only work out BETTER with the addition of Motion Plus, but you can make your own trainer, your own workout, and exercise EVEN MORE. Additionally, the ‘game’ will add six new modes, and 15 new balance games, including skateboarding and something weird with numbers....

As you already know,Halo Reachwas announced by Microsoft today. Not much was stated, other than that it’s coming out Fall 2010. However, if you read the book, then you already know what’s up. There were around 100 (can’t remember the exact number) SPARTAN IIs stationed on Planet Reach including the Master Chief. The Covenant manage to find Reach and spoiler alert, destroy the planet. It’s not so cut and dry as that as the book details the SPARTAN and human forces taking on the Covenant on the surface of the planet since the Covenant were looking for Forerunner technology inside of Reach....

Mr. Destructoidand the Destructoid team were there in full force to attend, naturally, with the Robot himself making his way to the stage to deliver his very own E3 eulogy. To experience the mourning of the old E3 via photos and Mr. Destructoid’s very own speech, hit the jump! The procession was long and more physically toiling than we had expected to encounter. After quickly grabbing whatever Gamecockswag was left over for the long track to Venice Beach (black handkerchiefs, umbrellas, and camel-backs all branded with the Gamecock logo), the Destructoid team joined the parade across the water to set the old E3 to rest....

I’m guessing you want to hear what Jim Sterling and Hamza Aziz have to say about the Microsoft press conference. I was also asked about some stuff here. I hope that’s OK. Given that Hamza, Jim, and I all have very different takes on Microsoft in general, we definitely came together on a lot of the topics at hand here. The merits (or lack thereof) for Kinect’s voice controls, the announcement of twoHaloGames, and Microsoft’s found children are all hot causes for debate, yet we manage to see eye to eye on most of them....

“The campaign of the decade, remade and remastered.” At Microsoft’s E3 2011 press conference,Haloin high definition was finally made official. They’re calling itHalo Combat Evolved Anniversary. Seven multiplayer maps will be enhanced and updated for Xbox Live, with online cooperative play also included. Look for it on November 15. So many people just got their wish granted, but I’m not one of them. I’m happy for you, though!

Adam excitedly sent this into our tips line, and I figured he was just being silly. Especially after watching the trailer above, which starts off admittedly rough. But in a Shyamalan twist, things go fromWii Sports Resort-clone to “You can scuba dive! And surf! And do tons of other weird activities. Why do I want this?!” What makesGo Vacationinteresting is the open-world nature, which you rarely see attached to what is essentially a collection of mini-games....

From the sounds of their on-video speech at Ubisoft’s press conference, Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg seem to have a lot of respect and enthusiasm for gaming in general, and they seem to really believe thatTintin:The Gamewill be a worthwhile standalone product. In their talk, there was a particular focus on the two-player co-op mechanics between Tintin and his dog, Snowy. They sound intent on crafting a game that makes for a social experience between players....

Valve has released a bunch of brand new videos forPortal 2, including the introduction of Stephen Merchant as Wheatley. You can check out Merchant’s voice work above, and then hit the jump for two new videos featuring the Faith Plate and the Repulsion Gel, two new items in the game. Anybody who isn’t looking forward toPortal 2is, most likely, a gigantic fool. The game’s most likely going to be hilarious and absorbing, and only a heart made out of frozen cat shite wouldn’t think the same....
