Lara Croft art is wicked Amish looking

Videogame craft is everywhere nowadays, but up to this moment, I don’t think gamers have seen anything like this. Artist Becky Schaefer has taken Lara Croft out of the jungles and into the world of needle point with her own unique visions. Becky took ordinary needle point kits that featured typical scenes of sunflowers and farmers and, added the sexy tomb raider into the mix. Lara looks fantastic as she climbs down the side of a sunflower, or stands nude behind a giant flower....

At 1200 Microsoft Points, I can understand how some of you might be hesitant to purchase the game, especially if you already own the N64 cartridge. Leaked shots of Playstation Home Beta

One of the posters over at PS3Forumsput up imagesof their invitations to Playstation Home, and their subsequent journey into the system. We get to see quite a bit, from interacting with your PSP to viewing videos, to playing games. I’m really digging the way that you view videos in the TV screens. It doesn’t seem so utterly out of place like I’d figure it would be — instead, it feels almost completely natural from a game perspective, and provides enough of a tease for me to go check out the videos on my own and download them to my non-existant PS3 (which I wish wasn’t the case)....

Left 4 Dead 2 boycott didn’t change Valve’s plans

One of the biggest complaints that people had when they decided to be all dramatic and boycottLeft 4 Dead 2was that the original game would not get all the support that Valve was apparently contractually obligated to produce. Valve soon proved that complaint wrong, but Doug Lombardi insists that the fresh content for the game wasnot influencedby the online furor. “I think there was just some confusion,” Lombardi said. “When you go to E3 and make a big splash on a new product you’re trying to get the retailer’s attention and the press attention....

Mafia II, Borderlands, and other 2K 360 content on sale

Your Xbox 360 Marketplace deals of the week are all 2K Games-related, with 50% off a bunch of add-on content for its most popular games. Oh, and some Avatar stuff, too. I’d recommend theBorderlandscontent if you haven’t checked it out yet, especially at that price. “Minerva’s Den” forBioShock 2is also surprisingly excellent, mostly because of how well-written I thought it was. Any other purchase suggestions for fellow Dtoiders?
