I’ll be totally up front with you — I thought this week’s HAWP was one of our worst, but all of a sudden all the GT comments are really positive, and I now have to basically hang my head and admit that I have no idea what’s good or bad anymore. You’ll probably want to see it for yourself, and can do sohere. Just as a heads-up, many of our recently-shot videos have already been posted and thus you might notice Ash’s hair get significantly shorter, or the humor get significantly six-months-ago-er in the next few episodes....

Many of you may have been wondering why exactly it took so long. It appears as though the Sony network gremlins experienced a few kinks in the process of puttingHomeup for everyone. According toPS3Fanboy, the entirety of PlayStation Network went down for around an hour. Then, the team found a “couple of technical problems” that they needed to address before mass release. If you were a part of the closed beta, be prepared to be surprised when you walk out of your apartment....

Insomniac CEO Ted Price enjoys his close relationship with Sony quite a bit, but also sees the benefits of allowing titles to go multiplatform. In an interview withGamasutra, Price admitted that he could “see the other side” of exclusivity and the profits that big games make by being playable on other platforms. Back on April Fools’ Day there was a fake product post by ThinkGeek for a thing called iCade. This was an arcade cabinet for your iPad: you’d simply slide in your tablet and go to town with the joystick and buttons in this minicab. But, again, it wasn’t real. Now it is real. The Freekade arcade cabinet now has walnut sides, a black matte finish and real controls that interface with your iPad via Bluetooth....

For some reason I have a hard time believing John Carpenter when he claims to be a bigF.E.A.R.fan, but whatever. Here’s a new trailer forF.E.A.R. 3, which should have been out ages ago, but is due to arrive on June 21. Oh wait, that’s next week. On its way to arcades this Winter isKing of Fighters: Sky Stage, a new vertical shooter from SNK Playmore. The game features flyingKOFcharacters, each with unique capabilit … wait,what? Apparently announced at Microsoft’s Spring media briefing, this one flew entirely under my radar; ghastly pun not intended.Sky Stagewas initially planned as an Xbox 360 title, and while there’s no new word on that yet, Andriasangreportstoday that the game will be playable in Taito’s booth at this year’s Amusement Machine Show in Japan....

The latestKirby’s Epic Yarnshows off basically everything I wrote about in mypreview earlier today. It also hammers home the fact thatEpic Yarnis ADORABLE! I just about lost it when the bear wakes up and opens up a new area in the world. We also have a gallery full ofKirbypatches. Yes, patches! TheKirbypatches show Kirby in his various Super Transformation and regular transformation forms. Just the idea is hilarious. It’s like an external CD drive for your silly netbooks. Sure, it’s useful, but you just feel silly pulling it out.
